NEON
The NEON quartet is an ensemble of contemporary music based in Montreal mixing modern jazz, contemporary music, new tango and academic music to create a singular genre.
NEON's musicians are experienced instrumentalists in their respective fields and also composers with opposing approaches and styles but who create unique and distinct music within NEON. Music research and sound exploration are at the very heart of the NEON ensemble's creation through the inclusion of the bandoneon in a jazz and tango -influenced quartet formation.
